Rigid Frame Structure: Strength and Stability

Rigid frame structures are one of the main structural types. They are lightweight, highly reliable, and possess good vibration (impact) and shock resistance. Rigid frame structures are widely used in multi-story buildings. This structure consists of many beams and columns that bear the entire load of the building. For high-rise residential buildings and multi-story industrial plants, brick walls can no longer meet the requirements of heavy loads, and frames are often used as load-bearing structures. Rigid frames have a strong load-bearing capacity and remain stable under wind loads and earthquakes.

 

Gantry Frame: A Pillar of Industrial Buildings

A gantry frame is a single-story structure with rigid connections between steel columns and beams. It is mainly used in large-span buildings such as industrial workshops, warehouses, hangars, and stadiums. Gantry frames use steel materials shaped like the letter "H," with purlins and a support system, forming a stable structural system that is simple, lightweight, rationally stressed, and easy to construct.

 

Truss Structure: Maximizing Strength with Minimal Material

Trusses utilize the stability of triangles, consisting of upper chords, lower chords, and web members. Through the rational arrangement of bars, higher load-bearing capacity is achieved with less material. This structure is often used in large-span buildings such as bridges and roofs, such as stadium and terminal roofs, usually composed of large-span pipe trusses. Truss structures are lightweight, effectively distribute loads, and reduce the pressure of the structure on the foundation, thus reducing material and foundation construction costs.


 

Space Frame Structure: Enhanced Structural Integrity

Bracing frames usually consist of frames and supports, which together bear vertical and horizontal forces. This structure can effectively resist wind loads and earthquakes, enhancing its stability. Common bracing types include X-shaped, K-shaped, and V-shaped bracing, which are characterized by flexible layout and lateral resistance.
